Intended for use in die sets requiring easy guide post disassembly and assembly. Hardened, ground, and hard chrome (Microme) plated, these guide posts enable the die to be ground while mounted in the die set. They are locked in place with a Steel Taper Lock Pin. The Lock Pin can easily be removed by driving it out. The Microme plating provides an exceptionally smooth, hard-wearing surface which resists corrosion, while reducing friction and maintenance on close working fit applications. Microme plating can increase the accuracy and working life of die sets or other equipment using these guide posts. Size range is complete for all general use; other sizes are available as specials.
